Plaster Ceiling Installation
Ceilings that hide the wiring and carry the lighting, set out level and finished flat.
Service Overview
A plaster ceiling does more than cover the slab. It conceals wiring and air-conditioning pipework, carries the lighting layout, and sets the proportions of the room.
The two things that go wrong are level and cracking. We set out from a laser datum and detail the joints and edges properly, so the finished plane stays flat and the seams do not telegraph through the paint.
What We Provide
Suspended plaster ceilings
Full ceiling installation on a metal framing system, set out from a laser datum for a flat plane.
Cornices and mouldings
Perimeter cornice and moulding profiles installed to soften the wall-to-ceiling junction.
Cove and concealed lighting
Cove details built to house LED strip lighting, with driver access retained for servicing.
Bulkheads and service concealment
Bulkheads to conceal air-conditioning pipework, ducting and trunking runs.
Why It Is Worth Doing Properly
Set out from a laser datum
Levels are established with a laser rather than measured off an uneven existing slab.
Detailed against cracking
Joints, edges and movement points are detailed so seams do not reappear through the paint.
Coordinated with the trades above
Wiring and air-conditioning routes are confirmed before the ceiling is closed, so nothing has to be reopened.
